More info

  • Made entirely from vintage Military Surplus we believe these bags are unlike anything else on the market today
  • Being able to use the military surplus preserves the pride in these garments and products and gives them a whole new life where they can be enjoyed and respected again.
  • It also means less waste as more garments which can no longer be worn or do not sell, can be reused instead of going to waste.
  • The main part of the bag is made from vintage Austrian Army Poncho's which are made from this great olive green canvas
  • The lining of the bag is made from Vintage British Army Sleeping Bag Liners
  • The Inner pocket of the bag has a velcro closure - recycled from the sleeping bag liners
  • The fasteners and trims and fabric interfacings which stiffen the fabric are bought in as unfortunately we haven't yet found a suitable alternative but we are working on some ideas for the next batch which will incorporate recycled fasteners.
  • We make these bags in house completely by hand by laying pieces of garment together to see if we have a design, sketching it out, cutting the pieces to a pattern and sewing it all together.
  • The front panel on this bag is made from an RAF Flight suit. The suit had been shredded beyond repair but we were able to salvage a few scraps to make the panel of this bag. The small pocket with badge still works as a pocket
  • The badge is not genuine issue
  • Dimensions 40cm x 25cm x 10cm
  • Because this item is made from items which have been well used by Military Forces around the world please expect some marks or small repairs as part of the character of the item and imagine the stories it could tell. Be proud of it's history.
